COURT SABOTAGED
NEW YORK, Aug. 13.
Someone during the night sabotaged the tennis court at Westchester County Club on which the Davis Cup interzone final is being played. Either late last night or early this morning the back-court on either side of the net was dug up with a garden fork, and deep heelmarks had been ground about the rest of the court. It is thought the damage may have been done by annoyed spectators who did not get their money back when, because of rain, only one of two scheduled singles matches was played.
