Over 6000 People Died In Ecuador ’Quakes

QUITO, Ecuador, Aug. 14
President Plaza today estimated that over 6000 people were killed in last week’s earthquakes. He said the damage to houses and public buildings alone amounted to 10,000.000 dollars.
