New Appointments In Education Board Building Staff

A new system which should provide better supervision of the growing programme of maintenance and new works and the more expeditious handling of all new works, was set in train at Friday’s meeting of the Hawke's Bay Education Board in Napier. New appointments to the board’s staff wpre:—Mr. L .Cuff, a member of the architect’s staff, becomes works superintendent; Mr. T. Morgan, Gisborne. foreman of works, becomes building supervisor; and Mr. G. R. Simmonds, Napier, is promoted to a similar position.

All, building operations will remain under the control of the board's architect. Mr. L Fleming, but with the new appointments it is expected that he will have more time to plan new schools and additions to existing ones-
