After scoring four knock-downs in the sixth round, the Australian aboriginal boxer, Clem Sands, lOst. sJlb., last night won on a technical knockout over the ‘former New Zealand champion, lan Cruickshanks, lOst. 61b., in a welterweight contest. In a professional lightweight preliminary, Laurie Rodger, 9st. lOJlb., won his first fight as a professional by scoring a technical knock-out qxstl Paddy Waddick, 9st. 71b., in the ajcwi and last round of an exciting contest.
