1949 SHOW DATES IN OCTOBER STILL TO BE CONFIRMED
The old score of Show dates reared its head at the meeting of the executive of the P.B. Agricultural and Pastoral Association yesterday. The president, Mr. P. F. Barker, mentioned that October 28 and 29 had been applied for as the dates for the spring fixture, and the secretary, Mr. A. R. Trafford. added that ther6 had been no unanimous decision at the eastern district council meeting and the dates had been referred to the Royal Agricultural and Pastoral Society. Mr. R. Graham: Have Hawke’s Bay got their dates? Mr. R. C. Parker: Yes, they always get theirs before the argument starts. The discussion lapsed.
