Mr Hassall spoke of the time when he brought hounds to Gisborne 60 years ago- He then addressed the younger members telling them that they should appreciate having a good pack of hounds, and should keep an eye on the hounds working instead of thinking of jumping. The hunting field was not the place to school horses. Another thing was not to talk much when hunting as it took very little to district hounds.

He was very glad to be with the P.B. Hunt Club once again, as the people here were always so hospitable.
