RECRUITING CAMPAIGN FOR GIRL MARCHERS
A recruiting campaign in Gisborne for girl marchers, to begin on July 25 and to continue until July 29 inclusive. for which representatives of the Ne\y Zealand Marching Association will* be present, was decided on at a meeting of the Gisborne Marching Association last evening. Representatives of Gisborne bands, the Highland Pipe, Home Guard and City were present and for the purpose of maintaining interest in marching throughout the winter a series of dances was decided on. A dance committee, comprising members of the marching association and representatives of the bands was formed and instructed to make the necessary arrangements. ■
