Applications For Loans Granted By Society
Applications for loans totalling £3395 were granted, making £8405 granted to date this current year, at a meeting of directors of the Gisborne Permanent building Society yesterday at which Mr. D. L. Ferguson presided. Applications for 253 new subscribers’ shares were approved. The society’s year ends on June 30 and the directors expect that'the profits on all subscribers’ credits will be allocated for this year at four per cent, an increase of $ per cent, on previous years.
