Regent.—Probably no more fitting picture could have been chosen for the holiday season than the current attraction in Technicolour. This is Irving Berlin's “Easter Parade.” in which the American composer expands and capitalises on his vocal hits of some 15 years ago. Fred Astaire, whose charm lies more particularly in his agile feet, plays the lead, with Judy Garland as his partner in the show business. Majestic.—Two fine holiday shows suitable for all the family screen today Gene Autry goes to Mexico in his new picture. "Twilight on the Rio Grande.” Gene Autry introduces his new horse Champion, jun. The associate feature, “Winter Wonderland,” is a happy comedy romance set against a background of winter sports. The stars are Lynne Roberts and Charles Drake. The programme mcludes the serial “Jesse James Rides Again.”
