Egyptian M.P. Escapes Bomb-Throwing
(10 a.m.) CAIRO, May 6. The president of the Egyptian Chamber of Deputies. Hamed Gouda Bey escaped an attempt on his life when three hand grenades were thrown at his car and exploded while he was returning to his home in a Cairo suburb. The grenades were thrown from a house on the roadway. They narrowly missed the car and injured several persons in a following car. Three persons have been arrested.
