ASHBURTON SEAT
(P.A.) ASHBURTON, May 6. The unanimous confirmation of Mr. R. G. Gerard as a candidate in the forthcoming general election was given by 120 delegates representing 20 branches who attended the annual meeting of the Ashburton electorate of the National Party last night.
