MEN ACQUITTED OF MURDER AT THIRD TRIAL
SYDNEY, Ap. 7. A jury in the Central Criminal Court lias acquitted two men at their third trial for the murder of Francis John Beaumont Allard, aged 40, on June 9, 1948.' The accused were Percy Charles Neville, aged 32, and Harold Sydney Brett, aged 26. At their two previous trials, the juries failed to reach an agreement. The defence of each accused was an alibi. This time before the defence case was finished the jury told the judge it had decided to acquit.
