BURTON TROPHY TOURNEY DRAWS 63 ENTRIES

EASTER BOWLS

Sixty-three entries have been received this year for the Burton trophy bowling tournament to be spread over the six sections and play will take place on the Gisborne, Poverty Bay, Kahulia and Riverside greens.

An innovation this year will be the two games per day of 25 ends instead of the usual three games of 21 ends. Six games will be played in section play and five games or section ties will be required to quaiUy. The umpires will be Messrs. H. C. Powell. H. Hopkinson, C. R. Ingram, F, Matthcwson, G. P. Weatherley and O. R. Olsen. The last-mentioned four umpires will officiate when not playing on ‘ the Kahutia or Poverty Bay greens. Following are the teams and draw:— A SECTION TEAMS
