Senior A. —Second Day: Rugby Old Boys v. United, Oval No. 2 wickel: I-1.5.0.8. v. Marist, Oval No. 4.

Senior B.—Rugby Oid Boys (B) v. Marist. Oval No. 4 wicket. In the Senior A matches commenced two weeks ago Rugby Old Boys opened with 207 runs on No. 2 wicket and at stumps United had lost two wickets for 19 runs, while on No 3 wicket Marist had scored 164 for five in reply to the tally of 189 made by 1T.5.0.8., in the first strike

While recent form and progress positions in the games point to the retention of the championship by Rugby Old Boys, two other teams are still in the running. With 37 championship points Rugby Old Boys have a lead of five over United, who arc only four ahead of Marist.

The Senior B matches completed last week left Rugby Old Boys (B) and H. 5.0.8. in equal first position as the only possible winners of the championship. Rugby Old Boys (B), a late entry and Marist. who drew the bye in the season-opening series, however, have played one game less than the other four teams. In the first series of the second round Rugby Old Boys (B) gained out outright win against Marist and in the equalising game tomorrow require to register only one point to tak° the championship.

The annual presentation of trophies is to be made at a social evening on April 16.
