(10 a.m.) ROME, April 6. Grand Duke Vladimia, head of the Romanov House and Pretender to the Russian throne, has appealed (to the Russians throughout the world to unite in overthrowing the Bolshevik regime.
The appeal, published in Rome, is specifically directed to “clandestine groups behind the ‘iron curtain.’ ” Tire 31-year-old Grand Duke said that all Russians must devote themselves to the real service of their country.
“It must be clear to you all that never has such a regime of cruelty or exploitation of the workers existed,” he declared. “It is an exaggeration to suppose that those responsible for your sufferings are invincible or omnipotent. In the struggle that will come, the Russian people must be considered as the most precious ally of the anti-Communist forces.”
