India Awaits U.N. Report On Indonesia
(10 a.m.) LONDON, Mar- 9. The Indian Prime’ Minister, Mr. Nehru, stated during a debate of foreign affairs in the Assembly that future Indian action on Indonesia would depend on the discussions to take place in the Security _ Council which had yet to consider the report of the United Nations Commission. Replying to a questioner who asked whether Indian assistance to Indonesia was merely formal or substantial, Mr. Nehru said: “Our assistance has already proved to be not only substantial but very important.”
