Conscription Policy
Surprise was expressed at last week’s meeting of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce that the policy statement of the Prime Minister about conscription should be issued as a supplied statement bv the Wellington Trades Council. Mr. C. D A. George said that one would have expected Mr. Fraser, in announcing such an important policy as this, to have made it so that he could have been fully reported in the ordinary way.
