England Has Narrow Lead On S. Africa: Mann 131 Saves Day
(11 a.m.) CAPE TOWN, Mar. 8, ' England at stumps on the third day of the final cricket test against South Africa at Port Elizabeth has a narrow first innings lead. The loss of three English wickets before lunch gave South Africa a fighting chance of winning the test but England’s captain, Mann, pulled the game round in his teams favour. He went in at 149 for four and with Jenkins and Bedsei saved' England. It was Mann’s first century in test cricket. .
