5000-MILE NONSTOP FLIGHT IN LIGHT PLANE
(11 a.m.) NEW YORK, Mar. 8. Captain Bill Odom has broken his own world’s light plane record by about 1800 miles. He flew from Honolulu to Teterboro airport, New Jersey, approximately. 5000 miles, nonstop in a single engine plane in MG hours 1 minute.
Captain Odom established (lie previous record in January when be flew from Honolulu to San Francisco.
