(P.A.) AUCKLAND, Mar. !). Another remarkable swimming performance was given at the Olympic Fool last night by' the 16-ycar-old New Zealand junior champion Miss W. Griffin in winning the Auckland secondary schoolgirls' 110 yards championship in 72sces. This was the fastest lime ever recorded by a New Zealand woman swimmer. The nearest comparable senior time is the national women’s senior record of 71 4-ssec. for 100 metres bv Miss E. Stockley in 1920.
