NEW PROGRAMME PLEASES AT BARTON’S FOLLIES
Before an almost capacity "house” last evening Barton's Follies continued its successful season- Against a background of colour and laughter the stars of the show provided a varied programme to suit almost any palate. Masters of the art of balance, the Kelroys were outstanding in their skill A moment's indecision or the slightest slip of hand or foot could have caused serious injury to these daring players and the audience was quick to show warm appreciation of their courage and ability. Jandy continues to endear himself to the people of Gisborne. A true artist, he uses the lift of an eyebrow or. the flick of a foot to convey a world of meaning.
Ranging from the spectacular to the grotesque, from "straight" music to swnig, _ with thrills and song skilfully intermingled, Barton’s Follies has all the ingredients of a good show.
