MORE FOREIGN REDS BACK SOVIET
■(11 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, Mar. 8. M. Paul de Groot, secretary of the Dutch Communist Party said the Dutch Communists were “solidly behind the declaration of M. Thorez and Signor Toeliatti in which they announced the support of the masses to the Soviet armies if these should pursue the imperialists within the frontiers of their countries.”
The central committee of the Swiss Communist Party, endorsed M. Thorez’s speech. It said: “This attitude is designed to prevent France becoming a base for a bellicose adventure conducted by the American imperialists.”
