WOMAN OFFERS BODY FOR CANCER RESEARCH TESTS
(11 a.m.) VIENNA, Mar. 7. Mrs. x Holdegard Fasan, who was acquitted on Friday of the mercy killing of her cancer-ridden husband, has offered the use of her body In experiments to find methods of fighting the disease. Mrs. Fasan, aged 50, said she wanted to devote her life to the work of combating cancer. She was accused of killing her husband by turning on the gas in their apartment because he was in unbearable pain. Her attempt to commit suicide at the same time was foiled by neighbours.
