(P.A.) AUCKLAND. Mar. 7. Engine trouble which developed shortly after the vessel left her berth forced the New Zealand Shipping Com. pany’s motor-ship Kaikoura, of 5885 tons, to return to Auckland on Saturday. The Kaikoura, bound for Havana, New York, Boston and Eastern Canada, cleared port at 2.15 p.m. and returned an hour and a half later. She berthed yesterday morning.
