HIGHLY RESPECTED TINIROTO RESIDENT: MRS. ELLEN BERRY
OBITUARY
A resident of Tiniroto since she was married in Gisborne at the age of 20, Mrs. Ellen Berry died in the Cook Hospital yesterday. She was 04 years of age. Mrs Berry was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Clarke, Waipawa. Forty-four years ago she came to Gisborne and married Mr. James Berry, the couple having resided at Tiniroto ever since. A keen worker in the Church of England and of a bright disposition, Mrs. Berry was always well liked and highly respected. Her death came as a shock to her relatives and many friends. Mrs. Berry is survived by her husband and one son, Mr. James Berry, Tiniroto. « There are also three daughters, Mrs. G. Adams. Warkworth, Miss E. I. Berry, Tiniroto, and Mrs. D. Knight, Te kuiti. A service will be held in the Church of England. Patutahi, at 3.15 p.m. tomorrow, after which the funeral will leave for the Patutahi cemetery.
