Soviet Criticism Of W. Samoa “Nonsense” Unworthy Of Reply
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 28. Messages received by the Prime Mininter’s Department state that the Trusteeship Council’s discussion on Western Samoa has been completed and that all council members except the Soviet Union had commended the administering authority. Sir Carl Berendsen, the New Zealand delegate, described the Soviet representative’s criticism as “in the large part nonsense and unworthy of a serious or detailed reply.”
