ALLEGED RED SCHEME TO GAIN CONTROL OF SCOUT MOVEMENT
(11.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, Mar. 1. The Queensland Scout headquarters recently disbanded a Communist-con-trolled group and prevented a Communist scoutmaster from attending the Victorian jamboree.
Scout headquarters believes the recent Communist infiltration is part of, an ambitious scheme to gain control of the movement.
Lord Rowallan, British Empire Chief Scout, said in Brisbane that Queensland Scout officials would deal with Communist infiltration and that Communist attempts to gain control of the movement would fail.
