San Marino Retains Only Red Regime In West Europe
(10 a.m.) ROME, Feb. 28. San Marino, Italy’s 38 square mile? mountain State, retained the only Communist - dominated Government in Western Europe in its first election for nearly four years, says the Associated Press correspondent. The vote gave the CommunistSocialist coalition 2815 votes against 2010 for the anti-Communist Popular Alliance.
The coalition will have 35 seats in the Grand Council and the Popular Alliance 25 seats.
