KAHUTIA RINKS FINALISTS IN WAIROA BOWLING TOURNEY
(Herald Correspondent.) Keen interest was displayed in the all-day bowling tpurnament conducted by the Wairoa Bowling Club last weekend. No fewer than 120 players took part, all spending a most enjoyable day. At the end of play it was found that Weatherly's rink had won the A Section, and the B Section went to S. Gooch.
Due to the lateness of the hour when the last games concluded it was decided that these two rinks should play the final in Gisborne, the competitors all being members of the Kahutia club.
