On a bombed site at 1, Upper Grosvenor street. London, the British rayon Industry has opened a permanent design and style centre. Special fluorescent lighting has been installed to enable overseas buyers to examine materials under the daylight conditions of any climate. One of the most interesting exhibits of the centre is this striking design showing rayon filaments that may be woven into a glamorous evening gown. Rayon will be playing a big part in this year’s British Industries Fair.
