Man Found With Bullet Wound in Chest

LEVIN, Feb. 11
Suffering from a bullet wound in the chest, Clarence Robert Ellis Drinnan, Wellington, was admitted to the Wellington Hospital from Waikanae last night. His condition is reported to be serious.
With another man and two women Drinnan was occupying an untenanted house in the isloated upper reaches of the Mangaone Stream Valley, about five miles from Waikanae.
It is stated that the other three members of the party were absent from the house and on returning found Drinnan lying on the floor of one of the rooms with a ,22 calibre rifle nearby.
