Inter-Club Swimming, Owing and Water Polo at Gisborne

The Ferguson Cup will be at stake in the inter-club swimming, diving, and water polo contests between teams representing the Gisborne and. Heretaunga (Hastings) amateur swimming clubs at the floodlight carnival being held at the Macrae Baths. Gisborne, this evening. Representatives of the two clubs played prominent parts in the recent championships of the centre and it is expected that competition will be keen. The trophy is at present, held by Herelaunga.
