Soviet Propaganda Drive Against Finns
(9 a ,m.) LONDON, Feb. 9. The Government has suddenly opened a new propaganda drive against Finland. The Daily Herald’s diplomatic correspondent says that there is reason to think it may be a prelude to diplomatic demands —perhaps for the revision of last year’s Soviet-Finnish treaty. ~ ... ~ The correspondent adds that the Soviet newspaper Trud charges the Finnish Government with unfriendliness towards Russia and with trying to join a “northern bloc -1 under Norway s leadership.
