POSTCARDS DELIVERED 32 YEARS LATE
MELBOURNE, Nov. 21,
Two post-cards posted in Cairo in 1916 to an address in High street, Malvern, arrived this week—32 years late. They were sent by Arthur le Fevre. professional at Royal Melbourne Golf Club, who was in Cairo with the A.1.F., to his fiancee (now his wife) and his sister-in-law, since dead.
This week the post-cards arrived at the address in good condition and were sent on to Mr. Le Fevre. They were stamped, “Cairo 30 Nov. 1916.” and postmarked in Melbourne on Nov. 12 this year. They were also marked, “Passed by Censor.”
