AUCKLAND FIXTURE NOT INVOLVED
(P.A ) AUCKLAND, Dec. 20. The turf carnivals in Auckland during the holidays are not threatened by the question of race meetings being declared black because of the dispute which has arisen in Wellington over the national award for racecourse employees. Such workers employed in Auckland are outside the provisions of the Dominion award and are parties tc a separate agreement. I’he Auckland racecourse workers are unlikely to be involved unless the dispute should spread and they will be faced with the question of sympathetic action. Expectations here are that the dispute will be settled before the holidays.
