Injection Of Truth Drug Restores Man's Sight
(1] a.m.) VIENNA, Doc. 19. The sight of a man who had. suddenly gone blind was restored within five minutes of his being given an injection of the American truth drug, according to Professor Kauders, of a psychiatrical clinic of Vienna University.
The professor believed that the cause of the man’s blindness was psychic rather than physical. He gave an injection of the truth drug (sodium amythal) and while the patient was under ils influence suggested to him that he could see.
The man, five minutes after the injection, was able to read the newspapers.
