UNCHANGED RATES AT MORRINSVILLE
A small yarding of fat sheep was offered on Friday at the weekly stock sale at Morrinsville, and prices were on a par with those ruling at the central yards. There was a ready sale at values slightly in advance of ruling rates for a good offering of beef. Firm rates were paid for boner and store cows. Prices:—
Sheep.—Fat, woolly hoggets, £2 13s to £2 18s 6d; fat, shorn hoggets, 38s to 40s 6d; light, 365; fat ewes, 30s fid; fat lambs 36s 6d; store wethers, 37s 3d. Cattle.—Medium-weight prime bullocks, £lO 9s to £2O 13s; light prime bullocks, £l7 to £lB ss; one extra prime runner, £2O; heavy fat Jersey cows and heifers, £lO to £ll 15s; lighter fat Jersey cows and heifers, £8 to £9 10s; boner cows, £5 15s to £7 10; store Jersey cows, £4 10s to £5 10s; bulls, £6 10s to £l2.
