500,000 FROM ABANDONED GOLD MINE

An Italian member of a syndicate which made nearly £500,000 from an abandoned gold mine has chartered an aircraft to fly his family out from Italy.
Another has flown to Italy to bring his wife to Australia.
The mine had been idle for 18 years until the syndicate made their fortune from it two years ago. After winning gold worth more than £250,000 the syndicate sold the mine for £240,000.
