MILD ’FLU EPIDEMIC IN ITALY

GENEVA, Dec. 16.
The widespread influenza epidemic in Italy was mild in form and gave no cause for alarm, the United Nations World Health Organisation reported, quoting Italian health authorities. It added that the disease was on an epidemic scale in Rome and had spread to the northern provinces.
