British Reconciled To China Coalition
(11 a.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 16. The likelihood that a coalition would be dominated by the Reds does not worry the British who are reconciled to co-operation as far as possible with the Chinese Communists. Temporary asylum in Hong Kong will be offered individual members of General Chiang’s government if needed, but there is no question of permitting a Chinese Exile Government to operate from British territory.
