HEAVY TASMAN AIRMAIL
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, pec. 16. Each morning this week a Tasman flying-boat for Sydney has carried almost half a ton of mail. A similar quantity arrived by the flying-boat from Sydney yesterday afternoon. All this week the aircraft have been carrying six times the normal quantity of mail, not counting Christmas gift parcels.
