£7OOO MUSIC SHELL
SYDNEY, Nov. 14. North Sydney Council’s £7OOO cream-painted-,music shell, opened yesterday afternoon, will be floodlit every night until dawn to protect it from vandals. The shell, which was begun in 11)45. is claimed to be the only one of the kind in the southern hemisphere. Symphonic or band music will be played at the shell every week-end. either on Saturday or Sunday. Furies and Fireflies from the two new carriers.
