1963-65 GOVERNMENT LOAN TO CLOSE
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 17. The present 3 per cent Government loan on the local market maturing on July 15, 1963-65, is to be closed on December 22. Announcing this today,., the Minister of Finance, Mr. W. Nash, said (his loan was opened on January 19. 1948, and had been available for subscription right through the year, The amount received to date was £23,635,000 and had been applied in the terms of the prospectus in financing the national development programme.
