DR. BARRY KAHLENBERG, Gisborne, has been granted the diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
MR. T. W. SEWELL was yesterday reappointed by the Cook County Council as its representative on the Gisborne High School Board of GovernorsThe council re-appointed Mr. E. H. Baker as the county representative on the Gisborne-East Coast Regional Council, with Mr. L-. C. C. Field as his deputy. MR. E. H. BAKER, chairman of the Cook County Council, today absented himself from a monthly meeting of the council for the first time in a number of years. In his absence Mr. R. C. Murphy presided as deputy-chairman. The attendance included Messrs. F. Keats, L. C. C- Field. F. S. Bowen, A. S. Gibson. J. Eivers, R. Graham and J. R. Hair.
