(11 a.m.) JOHANNESBURG, Dec. 15. Tiie Minister of Transport, Mr. Paul Sauer,' told the British Manufacturers Representatives’ Association today that British manufacturers must pay greatei attention to the design and utility of their goods if they hoped to continue to participate successfully in the South African market.
South Africa could maintain British imports at the present levels only if British capital investments continued and if South African exports to the sterling areas could be increased.
