MALTA DOCKYARD RIOT -BRITONS INJURED

VALETTA, Dec. 13,
Discontented Maltese dockyard workers damaged workshops and attacked British personnel because of a month’s delay over their request for increased wages, says the Associated press correspondent in Valetta. Engineer Captain Dawson was ad mitted to hospital with head injuries A policeman was also injured.
The disorders last for four hours. Police cleared the dockyard when the knocking-off signal sounded Hieequarters of an hour before the scheduled time.
