DENIAL OF CHIANG'S REPORTED RESIGNATION
;(11 a.m.) NANKING, Dec. 14. Officials deny reports which were widely reported in Hong Kong financial circles that General Chiang Kai-shek had resigned as President of China.
General Chiang entertained the Economic Co-operation Administration director, Mr. Paul Hoffman and other American officials at a State dinner tonight. The Chinese Vice-President, Mr. Li Tsung Jen, was also at the dinner.
