Obscene Language Allegedly Used
Charged with using obscene language in Wainui road on November 11, Laura McQuilkin, a middle-aged woman, pleaded not guilty, when she appeared before Mr. E. L. Walton. S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Gisborne this morning. When the accused stated that she could produce a witness to prove that she was not in Wainui road on November 11. the hearing of the charge was adjourned until next Wednesday.
