U.S. To Use AustralianDesigned Tile Machinery
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 15. Australian designed machinery for making concrete tiles may soon be earning half a million dollars yearly in America for Australia, said Mr. G. W. Agar, Wellington, managing director of Atlas Products Overseas, Limited. -He added that in America he had completed negotiations for a big American corporation to manufacture tilemaking machinery under license. The plant was designed by an Australian engineer and developed by the Atlas Company and was the only plant of its kind in the world. He is supervising the shipping to America of prototype machinery from Melbourne.
