A Danish scientist, Professor Karl von Frisch, claims that experiments show that fish have a sense of hearing. lie removed the eyes of four fish and then tried jo get them to seek for food when lie played a certain tune on a whistle. The fish quickly began to associate the tune with feeding. He then tried other tunes to associate them with other events.

The results showed that the fish could distinguish between five different tunes. Now the professor is making experiments to find if fish can speak.
